PREPARATION<\/h2>\r\n

This formulation penetrates evenly into the substrate, creating a durable protective layer that is resistant to UV radiation and many chemicals. It reduces the tendency to stain, while making the surface easier to clean and ensuring long-lasting aesthetics. In addition, it gives the impregnated surface a shiny effect.<\/p>\r\n

Surface preparation<\/h2>\r\n

In order to carry out the impregnation effectively, a key step is to prepare the surface properly. It is important that the substrate is evenly porous, free of dirt, dry and grease-free. In the case of new gypsum products, impregnation is not recommended until 2-6 days after completion. Impregnation work should be carried out in dry conditions, with temperatures between +5 and +30\u00b0C and air humidity below 80%. Full water repellent properties of the surface are usually achieved after about 24 hours. During this time, contact with water and dirt should be avoided. If necessary, clean with water.<\/p>\r\n

Overlay<\/h2>\r\n

Impregnation can be carried out by brushing, spraying or by immersing smaller items in the solution for about 30 minutes. It is recommended to impregnate twice at intervals of 10-15 minutes. The second coat should be applied depending on the ambient temperature, but no later than 30 minutes after the first application, when the surface is still damp. Ensure that the surface to be impregnated is evenly saturated.<\/p>\r\n

Avoid excess impregnation. If excess occurs, wash off with water 30 minutes after impregnation. There is a possibility of a white deposit, particularly noticeable on dark colours. This deposit should be removed thoroughly by rinsing the surface under running water.<\/p>\r\n

Finally, the product should be gently polished with a dry cloth or microfibre.<\/p>\r\n

Restrictions on use<\/h2>\r\n

Do not use for impregnation of: marble, granite, sandstone, coloured ceramics as it may leave a white residue.<\/p>\r\n
